Spent 5 days in November 2022 exploring Sierra Nevada by mountain bike and being guided/supported by the excellent team of Tim and Jenny from puremountains.com They know the area, local customs and of course the trails extremely well. We were out there in November 2022 and it was still t-shirt weather and we had clear blue skies for 4 (of the 5 days), making it a perfect escape from dark and damp England! If you want to ride your mountain bike in arguably one of the most scenic places in Europe, then I would highly recommend booking a trip with Pure Mountains, as you won’t regret it.Posted on Google

SophiaMy partner and I had an amazing time on the Essential Sierra Nevada Gravel Bike tour with Pure Mountains! Perfectly curated routes, adjusted to our preferences to ride big days on epic, quiet terrain, fully supported with chef-made meals, packed lunches, and even laundry! The riding terrain is varied and spectacular, with a mix of pristine pavement, gravel roads of all conditions, and a bit of singletrack and doubletrack as well. The lodge is a truly special place, it feels like a hidden gem tucked high above the village of Berchules. We can't wait to go back!Posted on Google
Mick SwiftWe have just had the good fortune to have spent 4 days (5nights) mountain biking with PM and what an experience. Tim is an excellent guide, very knowledgable and very accommodating, he obviously took pity on us geriatric mountain biker’s being as the 3 of us have a combined age of over 200+ years and he tailored the rides accordingly but their were times out on the trial it didn’t feel like it 🤣 As well as Tim’s cycling abilities he also brings an excellent comedic value to the day, one liner’s being his speciality, Jenny is very amiable and obviously the brains of the outfit. So in finishing, excellent hosts, food & accommodation, it’s the little touches like the courtesy pack in your room and your name above the door that proves they go the extra mile to make your stay so memorable and the trails and scenery are breathtaking. Oh and a shout out for Micky the support vehicle guy and Magdelena for the wonderful food ( and the friendly pets) If your thinking of doing it? Stop thinking and get it done, can’t wait for next year if we’re not pushing up the daisies😉Posted on Google
Kevin SpindlerGood guiding and Tim was very professional, polite and acomodating. Jenny also very friendly Great gravel rides and routes chosen. Scenery is amazing. If had one improvement for me, would be to make routes longer by about 10km/I hour. Food and drinks were great with generous proportions and an open bar Rooms were very comfortable although as weather was cold at tines could have done with Rads on more, especially to dry towels. Pure Montains es una pequeña empresa dedicada a montar toda clase de rutas en bicicleta, en un lugar increíble donde se pueden tocar las estrellas y desconectar con el mundo real. Sandra LavilleThe Essential Sierra Nevada hiking holiday with Pure Mountains was fabulous. Each day’s hike was different and beautiful in its own way. Jenny is a great guide. She knows the routes and the stories of the mountains. We were replenished at lunchtime with a hearty packed lunch and returned each day to delicious home cooked dinners with fabulous desserts to replace lost energy. This is stunning hiking country and you barely meet a soul except for the beautiful Andalusian horses and the birds and wildlife. Couldn’t fault itPosted on Google
S HartleyExcellent hiking trip in beautiful Sierra Nevada. The hikes were varied and had just the right amount of challenge and distance, with hearty packed lunches in scenic spots. The weather was variable but that didn’t impact the enjoyment of the walks. Accommodation was perfect, with spacious rooms, communal eating and seating areas, and plentiful food and drink. Rachel ClayAmazing gravel bike touring journey through the Spanish Badlands of Andalusia. We booked quite late due a a change in travel plans and Jenny was really efficient getting our personalised self-guided tour organised with great routes between the most delightful boutique hotels. The area was so quiet and unspoiled with scenery out of this world and great hospitality at each destination. Bag transfers were a nice bonus so we only had to carry our daily kit and make sure we planned well for food and water requirements. peter campbell5 star gravel adventure on the Spanish Badlands Gravel Bike tour. If you like gravel biking, this should be on your list. The canyons through the Gorafe desert are an unforgettable backdrop through the landscape. There’s long gravel climbs and long descents without being too technical.
